Conquer Environmental Services was established in 1976 (formerly Conquer Pest Control) making the company the oldest independent Pest Control business in the Midlands area. Originally the company was purely a pest control company which specialised in pest control management to a range of customer’s predominantly within the agricultural and agricultural supply chain sector.
In 2005 the company took a new direction when it was purchased from the original owners by Henry Mott. Henry began his career in the Pest management industry in 1993 working for a major national pest management company and held various positions within that organisation during a twelve-year period. He brought his experience to the business both in the restructuring of the management of the company and also his knowledge and experience of other key markets, most notably within the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
The company has continued to grow significantly in the last 15 years but has still maintained the personal touch that stems from its organisational roots and it remains very much a family concern.
Henry Mott is the current President of Confederation of European Pest management Associations (CEPA) and is a well-known and highly respected figure of the industry both in the UK and on the worldwide stage. He regularly speaks on behalf of the industry at international events and has close ties with senior policy makers at an EU level.
Previously Henry sat as a Board member of the British Pest Control Association from 2007-2014 serving as Vice President of the association from 2008-2011 and President from 2011-2014. During his tenure as a Board member and President amongst many other achievements he was instrumental in raising the entry training level requirements for membership of the association and introducing a continual professional development scheme for all servicing staff of member companies.
